Which devices does Backgammon Lounge support?
Backgammon Lounge is built exclusively for Apple Vision Pro and requires visionOS 26 or later.
How do I switch between Turkish tavla and international rules?
Open Settings in the main menu and choose your rule set. The change applies from your next game. Turkish tavla scores mars as two points; international backgammon uses gammon and backgammon scoring.
How does Full Access work?
The App is free to download. Full Access is available either through a weekly plan that starts with a 7-day free trial for eligible customers, or through a one-time lifetime purchase. The weekly plan renews automatically at the price shown by the App Store until you cancel it in your Apple Account settings. Lifetime access never expires. Optional board themes and equipment sets are sold separately.
How do I restore my purchases on a new device?
Make sure you are signed in with the same Apple ID you used to buy the content, then open the Marketplace or Settings and tap Restore Purchases. This restores lifetime access, an active weekly subscription, and purchased themes or equipment sets. Lifetime access and cosmetic purchases never expire.
How do refunds work?
Purchases are billed by Apple, so refunds go through Apple rather than us. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple ID, and choose the purchase you want to request a refund for.
How do I play with a friend over SharePlay?
Start a FaceTime call with a friend who also has Backgammon Lounge on their Vision Pro, then choose SharePlay from the app’s main menu. Your friend accepts the invitation and takes the seat across the table — their Spatial Persona sits right where an opponent would.
How does online multiplayer work?
Online play uses Apple’s Game Center — sign in via device Settings if you haven’t already. From the Play Online section you can start a live match or a turn-based match that continues over days at your pace. Current live and turn-based Game Center matches, games against the AI, and SharePlay games are unranked.
A turn-based opponent stopped playing. What happens?
Turn-based matches have a per-turn time limit of three days. If your opponent lets it lapse, you can claim the win from the match screen and the match is scored normally.
The dice or checkers aren’t responding to my hands.
- Make sure your hands are visible to the headset and unobstructed.
- You can only pick up the dice when it’s your turn to roll, and only move checkers after rolling — highlighted points show your legal destinations.
- If the board seems stuck, close and reopen the board window, or restart the app. If it persists, please email us with the details.
Does the app work offline?
After Full Access has been verified, games against the AI can be played offline. Starting or restoring a weekly plan may require a connection so its current status can be checked. SharePlay and Game Center matches require a connection.
